Key Day
Saturday, March 13, 2010 9am-12 noon
Located at the Severna Park Baptist Church on Benfield.
All keys will need to be replaced in 2010.
Price remains the same at $5.00 for gates to
Hillbottom beach and Crab Away pier (same key opens both),
$20 for boat ramp key. Please bring
vehicle registration for proof of residency.
Slip rental prices
include the cost of a key for the pier.
Parking stickers ($1) for Hillbottom beach
will also be available.
Community Clean Up Day
Saturday April 24th at 9 AM at Hillbottom Beach.
Wear your dirtiest jeans, bring a pair of work gloves, shovels,
clippers, and other implements of destruction!
Annual Community Yard Sale
Saturday May 15th from 8am to 2pm.
Either set up at your
house or join us at Sign Island. We will advertise in the papers and put out signs. We will have
two community tables at Sign Island: a plant table and a white elephant table filled with your
donations. Dividing your perennials this year? Cleaning out the garage? Donate your extras to
CMIA. A local garden center may also provide native plants so stop by and browse. If you don‘t
have time to participate but are willing to donate plants or items to either community table, please
contact Carolyn Rogers at 410-279-3004. Proceeds will go to replenish our social fund.
Annual Community Picnic:
Saturday June 26th
Hill Bottom Beach
Plan on an afternoon of fun at Hillbottom
Beach. We do need some volunteers to help plan this event. We are planning on a new format
this year: free admission, bring a side dish and a chair. Burgers, dogs and beer will be available at
a nominal cost. The volleyball net will be up and we are looking for someone to organize fun
games for the younger children.
